Leave Shannon Airport on N19 and follow signs for Limerick. After 5km join the N18 south towards Limerick. Take the first exit (approx 3km) on your left for Sixmilebridge (R471). Turn left
onto R471 and after 6km you will arrive
in Sixmilebridge. Straight through, over the bridge
turn left
onto the Tulla road (R462) and drive for 3km. After the castle on
your left, take the turn on your right which is signposted "Mount
Cashel Accommodation". Drive down this narrow road for 1km,
the Mount Cashel stone wall & gate entrance will be on your left.
Limerick - 19km
Exit the N18 at junction 5 (R462 Sixmilebridge) and Proceed straight through Sixmilebridge
(7km), drive a further 3km where you will see a castle on your left, take the
next turn
on your right which is signposted "Mount Cashel Accommodation". Drive
down this narrow road for for 1km,
the Mount Cashel stone wall & gate entrance will be on your left.
Ennis - 19km
Follow signs for Quin (R469) and then Sixmilebridge(R462).
Immediately after Kilmurry
village the house sign, "Mount Cashel Accommodation" is on your left.
Drive down this narrow road for 1km,
the Mount Cashel stone wall & gate entrance will be on your left.
Dublin Airport - 220km
Take M1 south, after 1Km exit to M50. Follow M50 to junction 9
exit M7/N7 Limerick and follow M7 all the way to Limerick, then
continue on the M18 through the Tunnel. After toll take junction 5
exit R462 Sixmilebridge. Proceed straight through Sixmilebridge
(7km), drive a further 3km where you will see a castle on your left, take the
next turn
on your right which is signposted "Mount Cashel Accommodation". Drive
down this narrow road for 1km,
the Mount Cashel stone wall & gate entrance will be on your left.
